When I look back over the years and think about those early Yamaha home keyboards with their automated backings I’m amazed at how technology has changed them so much. The early home keyboards had some awful sounding drum machines on them not to mention guitar strums that sounded nothing like a guitar at all.

Nowadays we have keyboards like the YamahaTyros
that have hundreds of auto backings every one of which use today’s technology to create unbelievable realistic instrumentation.

When you close your eyes and listen to the Tyros it’s hard to believe your listening to just one keyboard. I’ll be adding some examples for you to listen to but please be aware that you must use decent speakers or headphones for the tracks to sound anything like the amazing Tyros.
