I’ve been a professional musician since 1968 up until the present day and I’ve seen a lot of exciting changes in music equipment over the years. Although I started on Piano Accordian at six years of age, I changed over to the organ in my early teens.

I’ll never forget the first time I saw The Spencer Davies group with Steve Winwood playing Hammond Organ on TV. The track was “Gimme Some Lovin” and those first distorted hammond chords in the Intro sealed it for me forever. I was hooked on the Hammond from that day forward.

It was a few years after that before I actually got paid to play a Hammond as my first pro gig was playing Accordian but Steve Winwood was the guy who changed my perspective on music forever.
